Summer received professional puppetry training at the world-renowned, award-winning Center for Puppetry Arts and specialized training in body puppetry while performing at Walt Disney World. She is skilled in hand-and-rod, shadow, and body puppetry. Summer performed as a swing in the world premiere of Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote, mastering every puppetry track in the production. The show went on to earn two Suzi Bass Awards, including Best New Work for Theatre for Young Audiences. She continues to expand her puppetry experience through performances with Xperimental Puppetry Theater, film projects, and theatre for young audiences.
