A graduate of Columbus State University's BFA Theatre Performance program, Summer began their professional career while still in school, earning regional theatre credits including JoJo in the regional premiere of Seussical the Musical and Peter in Peter Pan at The Springer Opera House.

Summer then spent nearly five years touring the country performing theatre for young audiences with companies including the National Theatre for Children and California Theatre Center. Those years on the road gave them a deep appreciation for the impact live theatre can have on young audiences and the importance of bringing high-quality performances to communities across the country.

After touring, Summer returned to Atlanta and built a multifaceted theatre career. They trained at Sketchworks Comedy while performing on stages throughout the city, including originating the role of Putzie in Vape: The Musical Parody, which later transferred Off-Broadway. This fall, they're especially excited to join Discovery Stage, bringing Let's Go Camping directly to children in pediatric units.
